This wine comes from Barbera vines planted at 1,900 metres above sea level in the Cafayate Valley. Although this is the same grape used in Italian Barbera, the resulting wine is unlike any Italian version we’ve tried before. It has a very deep colour, a smooth-silky texture and is intensely fruity with gentle tannins. We can’t give this wine a description that really does it justice. Suffice to say, if you like raspberry ripple (and who doesn’t?), then you’re in for a treat. We could happily drink this wine every night!
