This Chilean Pinot Noir hails from the Casablanca Valley in the Aconcagua region. This is a cool climate area. As a result, this Pinot Noir is elegant and has added complexity. On the nose, you get intense aromas of strawberry, cherry, rose petals and wild thyme. On the palate, you get strawberry and red berry flavours along with a little toasted hazelnut and vanilla from the French oak barrel ageing. This is a well balanced wine with soft tannins and a long finish. Overall, we think this is an excellent Pinot Noir for the money.
