This Carmenère is a deep ruby in colour. On the nose, you get aromas of raspberry, black plum and redcurrant with a hint of black pepper. On the palate, the black fruit is more apparent and combines well with spice and chocolate notes. As a result, you get a lovely full bodied wine with powerful tannins and a long finish. Overall, this is a good example of a Chilean Carmenère.
