This Argentinian sparkling wine is a pale golden yellow in colour with hints of pink coming through making it look like a rosé. It has a fine persistent bubble making it very inviting. On the nose, you get fruity notes of lemon, peach, apple and coconut, along with yeasty aromas of freshly baked bread. On the palate, you get more tropical fruit flavours like pineapple and grapefruit, as well as some complexity from the yeast. The blend consists of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, making it a classic Champagne blend. Additionally, they make it using the traditional Champagne method, which gives it its complexity. Overall, it is a full-bodied sparkling wine, with refreshing acidity and a long finish. As a result, we think this is a real treat.

Smart looking but unusual as the bottle is dark and simply labelled as Extra Brut. In the glass it appears a light rose of salmon colour and pale intensity. Aromas are youthful, vibrant, refined with notes of cranberries, pomegranate and citrus fruits. On the palate it is rich, creamy and generous albeit underpinned with assertive acidity rendering the wine refreshing and invigorating. Lovely precision and purity of fruit.
