About the wine
Amélie Blanc is an interesting white wine because it strays from the typical Chardonnay / Sauvignon Blanc blends. The secret to this blend is the addition of Viognier. This unusual mix results in a lovely crisp white wine with characteristics evident from each of the grape varieties. For instance, you get floral aromas from the Viognier, crisp gooseberry freshness from the Sauvignon Blanc, and depth of flavour and body from the Chardonnay.
